WHEN CAN I EXPECT TO RECEIVE THE INSPECTION REPORT?

  • We pride ourselves on same day service. You will receive the electronic inspection report the same day as your inspection is completed. It will arrive to you via email. Every report is comprehensive and includes photos.

SHOULD I BE AT THE INSPECTION?

  • We strongly urge the prospective buyer to be present for the walk-through at the end of the inspection. By being present, you will have a far greater understanding of your new home and the report.

WHAT IS A HOME INSPECTION?

  • A home inspection is a professional objective visual examination of the physical structure of the home as well as an inspection of the mechanical systems. The inspection area covers from the top of the roof to the bottom of the foundation. If problems or symptoms are found, the inspector may recommend further evaluation.

HOW LONG DOES THE INSPECTION TAKE?

  • Our thorough inspection usually takes about 3 - 4 hours plus the walk through time after the inspection is completed. However, timing varies based on the size and age of the home. Older homes, homes with crawlspaces, or multiple mechanical systems may take longer to inspect. At Davis Home Inspections, LLC. we give as much time as required to address your concerns.

WHY DO I NEED A HOME INSPECTION?

  • Your home is one of the most important and largest purchases you may make. A home inspection is an inexpensive way to learn the present condition of a home and its systems along with the need for any major repairs before you decide to purchase. Having a professional home inspection from a leading home inspection company will give you peace of mind and assist you in learning as much as possible about the present condition of the home and limit any surprises after your purchase.

I EXCEED THE STANDARDS!

  • The American Society Of Home Inspectors (ASHI) have established standards for our industry. These guidelines are addressed in ASHI’s Standard of Practice and Code of Ethics. They set the standards for ethics, experience, knowledge, procedures and reporting. This organization assists our trade in providing a common ground approach to the home inspection process by providing ongoing programs and seminars. At Davis Home Inspections, LLC., we continue to view ASHI standards as a foundation of business ethics. We meet and exceed these standards in every aspect. Check out the ASHI Standard of Practice and Code of Ethics.
